Dr. Uriel Reyes is a General Surgeon and Bariatric Surgeon certified by the CMCG/ CONACEM.

He studied at the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca, where he served as Instructor of the subject of Anatomy and dissection, also was part of the Honorable Technical Council of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Oaxaca, also was a member of the Honorable University Council of the Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca. He completed his postgraduate studies in General Surgery at the Hospital Juarez de Mexico, “Cradle of Surgery in Mexico” in Mexico City with the endorsement of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he served as Chief Resident of General Surgery and from which he graduated with honors, he was also Instructor of the “Suture Gym” of the Training Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. After finishing his specialty in General Surgery he continued with the subspecialty in Bariatric Surgery at the National Medical Center November 20 ISSSTE endorsed by the highest house of studies “National Autonomous University of Mexico. During his specialty and subspecialty he wrote scientific articles such as:
